Plans and points
Points are your compute allowance in the AI Strategy Workbench: chatting with the AI and running backtests both spend points. Each plan grants points every 30 days and also limits how many strategies you can create.
Go to Membership & points to see your current plan, remaining points, plan points used, and reset date.
Plans
| Plan | Monthly price | Points per month | Strategy limit | Deployment limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 300 | 10 | 4 |
| LITE | $19 | 1,400 | 40 | 10 |
| STARTER | $49 | 4,000 | 120 | 40 |
| PRO | $199 | 20,000 | 300 | 100 |
The Free plan's points start once your email address is verified. Until then your balance shows 0, and an action that spends points asks you to verify your email rather than upgrade. Signed up with a wallet? Add and verify an email address in Account Settings first.
How points are spent
| Action | Cost |
|---|---|
| Chat with the AI | Charged by the tokens a conversation uses: your messages, the AI's replies and its reasoning all count; each turn you send also has a base cost |
| Backtest | 2 points each |
The actual charges are the ones recorded in Points history on the membership page.
When you run out of points
When your points run out, actions that spend points show "You're out of points. Upgrade your plan or wait for next month's reset." and open the upgrade window. You can:
- Upgrade your plan to get the new plan's points right away. See Upgrade and pay.
- Wait for the next points cycle to reset automatically.
Contest bonus
Taking part in the Strategy Challenge may earn you extra Contest bonus points. Bonus points are counted separately and expire. The membership page shows them as points to spend and Plan points · Contest bonus until [date].
Upgrade and pay
An upgrade takes effect as soon as payment succeeds and starts a new full billing period. The two payment methods renew differently:
| Payment method | Renewal |
|---|---|
| Card (Stripe) | Renews automatically at expiry. You can cancel at any time. |
| USDC (on-chain wallet, Base network) | Does not renew automatically. You are reminded before expiry. |
Upgrade your plan
- Open Membership & points and click Upgrade plan. The upgrade window also opens automatically when you run out of points.
- In Choose your plan, pick a plan and click Upgrade.
- In Confirm upgrade, choose a payment method and check Amount due: the plan's monthly price minus the credit for the unused part of your current plan.
- Complete the payment.
If you already pay by card, you are also taken to Stripe's payment page to upgrade; a card you saved at an earlier payment is listed there. Once the payment succeeds, your current subscription stops and the new plan renews at its monthly price.
Pay by card
After you choose card, you are taken to Stripe to pay. When you return to the membership page, your plan activates automatically; this can take a few minutes.
Pay with USDC
- Choose USDC (on-chain wallet) and click Connect MetaMask to pay. If your wallet is not on the Base network, click Switch to Base network when prompted.
- Click Confirm payment and approve the transfer in your wallet.
- The page shows Confirming on-chain…. Your plan activates automatically once the transfer is confirmed. You do not need to do anything else.
If you have sent the transfer but your plan did not activate, you can enter the transaction hash manually to verify it. The transfer must come from the wallet that is currently connected.
Payments appear in Payment history on the membership page. For USDC payments, click View on-chain receipt.
Renew, downgrade, and cancel
Renewal and expiry
- Card: Renews automatically at expiry. You do not need to do anything.
- USDC: Does not renew automatically. Your account returns to the Free plan at expiry. To keep your plan, buy it again after it expires, or upgrade to a higher plan before it expires.
Downgrade
- Open Membership & points and click Upgrade plan to open the plans window.
- On a lower paid plan, click Switch to [plan] and confirm.
A downgrade does not take effect right away. Your current plan stays in place until the end of this period, and the new plan starts with the next billing cycle. The page shows Effective next cycle. Once scheduled, the membership page shows the downgrade date. To withdraw it, click Cancel schedule. To go back to the Free plan, card members should cancel auto-renewal.
Cancel auto-renewal
This applies only to memberships paid by card.
- On the membership page, click Cancel subscription.
- The confirmation explains that your membership reverts to Free after it expires; until then, all features and points work as usual, and it will not renew automatically. Click Confirm cancel.
After you cancel and before the plan expires, you can click Resume renewal to undo the cancellation.
Refunds
Membership fees cannot be refunded through self-service. If you have questions, Contact support.
